My new favourite 'healthy' treat are dark chocolate coated blueberries.
They are made by Brookside and the only time I buy them is when I go to Costco for my 'big shop' every 4-5 months.
They are the perfect treat after dinner when I need some chocolate but don't want to go crazy
Well, I guess I do go crazy on these guys because 1 handful just isn't enough.
The berries are made into ...

My Mom gave me this recipe and in honour of her on Mother's Day, I made it and ate it.
Its really simple and there are only 3 ingredients: marshmallows, evaporated (ideal) milk and good chocolate.
Start by melting (not cooking!) the marshmallows over a medium heat and add the evaporated milk. (This can be done in the microwave instead of the stove top).
Using a hand blender, blend the melted marshmallows and ...

While cleaning out part of my freezer, I came across Botticelli mini chocolate shells which I'd plan at some point to use but forgot all about them. I also found a bag of Halloween eyeball caramel chocolates. I needed to make something.
So I threw the eyeballs into a bowl over hot water to melt.
I had these left over from the Easter Egg Nests I made for Easter so I crushed ...

On Saturday I started clearing out some of the contents of my freezer and found these chocolate dessert shells tucked in the way back. We were going to our neighbours for a games evening and so I figured these would make a great dessert.
The lemon cheesecake part of the dish is simply cream cheese, gelatin, sugar, vanilla, lemon juice and peel and buttermilk.
Start by pouring a packet of gelatin over ...
Some people purchase fresh eggs, boil them, dry them and then paint them for Easter. Others spend hours blowing out the content of the eggs to make confetti eggs for throwing at each other. Our family has never done either of those things. I once bought an egg paint kit at Walmart but years later it still lies unopened in the closet.
I prefer to bake. I made these for Easter ...
Chocolate Orange Nut Squares

I had a bunch of oranges sitting in my fridge that had 'sighed'. That means, they are a little on the soft side and although I had one this morning for breakfast and it tasted great, my family don't like 'sighing fruit'. So, instead of juicing the oranges for tomorrow's breakfast, I made a chocolate orange squares. These will definitely be going to work with Warren in the morning!

Last week's Linda Panna Cotta has become this week's Valentine's Day Dessert.
It needs to be made the day before so it can set.
I used powdered sugar mix with a tiny bit of water to create some icing then wrote their initials (and mine!) on the chocolate heart using a toothpick.
This is what my men-folk are getting for dessert.
I'm sharing my chocolate with them. Now who loves whom the most??
