Jordan has lived with his eczema since he was a few months old. Here he is at 1 month old. You can just see the start of it on the lower part of his cheek.
At 4 months old, it was evident that he had eczema. He had it pretty much all over his body, around his eyes, and on his head.
During the summer, it started to clear up a bit ...
Jordan has crossed over from 'boy' to 'preteen'. Although he hasn't quite hit the puberty part yet (unless celery-smelling body odor counts), he's definitely starting to become more aware of who he is, what he likes, his choice of clothing, how he likes to conduct himself and who he'd like to become.
Enter Justin Bieber.
He's the latest five-hit Canadian wonder who is on the music scene and although he's only ...
Jordan has been studying South America at school and one of the cultures he’s been learning about it is the Mexican culture. As part of his study, the 2nd grade classes had a field trip to Garcia’s Mexican restaurant.
Its convenient to learn Mexico because we have a number of Mexican immigrants in the country who have brought about Mexican markets, stores and restaurants by the dozen.

Unfortunately for him, he said it in front of 2 other kids who were offended by his comment and ...
We had great excitement tonight because Jordan's 2nd top tooth came out. Its been kind of wiggly for about a year but very wiggly for a week. He's been working at getting it looser every day this past week.
It gives me the heebie jeebies whenever Jordan pushes his tongue against a tooth to make it horizontal to his gums but I kept encouraging him to do it tonight ...
As per our family tradition, we celebrated "Plus 1 Day" for Jordan. After church we went to Red Robin, a favorite for our family when it comes to birthdays.
They not only have insanely delicious burgers (or in Jordan's case, corn dogs - belch!) but they give out balloons and free dessert on birthdays.
Plus they sing to you which is always fun - especially when the servers ...
Jordan turned 8 today and we were woken before the sun came up with little toes scraping against our legs and little whispers from an excited boy who wanted to open his presents.
He was very patient as Warren and I chose to ignore him for another 15 min so we could sleep a bit longer but then we all got up to start the birthday celebrations.
Jordan is crazy for Lego ...
