Bottles and a Pink Dog

Right across the street from the KOA we were staying at on Day 4 of our road trip is a doggie daycare and boarding place owned and run (I presume) by the Stolte family. You can't miss it.  Its rather distinct. I was curious.  I had to take a closer look.  We went inside the gate of the daycare and knocked on the door.   The Stolte dog greeted us much to the delight ...

Utah to Colorado - Home!  The sunrise was lovely.  Right outside our hotel window. We left Utah after breakfast and instead of heading through Wyoming, we decided to go south through Utah and east through Colorado.  The final stretch of our journey.  We traveled through the city of Provo and past these.  Nice to see some natural energy in the process.  Interesting rock formations.  Kind of like a sand castle on a beach.  A place I'd ...

It was originally named the Twin Falls-Jerome Intercounty Bridge and when it opened to traffic in September 1927, it was the highest bridge in the ...

Day 9.  Washington - through Oregon - to Idaho.  The car was packed, breakfast was eaten, the paper was read.  We had to stop at Starbucks for our nectar before heading onto the I-90.  The scenery was pretty as we drove out.  Still very green and lush.  Snoqualmie  - very lovely.  Looking back towards the Seattle area from Union Gap.  Mt. Adams in the distance.  We stopped at a farm store in Yakima, WA to stretch our ...

THE RAIN DANCE Part One There once was an indian who decided to do a rain dance.  He got too shy and self conscious to complete the rain dance and sat on the step and cried. Later on in the day, a meeting with his wise older brother convinced the indian to start over and with his brother’s help, the indian decided to attempt the rain dance once again.  Part Two There once was an indian ...
